Chamber of Commerce hosting seminar on Tuesday
Kern Citizens for Energy, a coalition dedicated to supporting the oil and gas industry in Kern County, will host their next free, hands-on social media training in Taft on Tuesday
The coalition is partnering with the Taft Chamber of Commerce to share tips and skills that can help small business owners use social media to increase awareness about their brand and grow their business.
The seminar will at the Taft Chamber of Commerce, 400 Kern St. and the training will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a catered dinner.
This introductory workshop is designed for individuals with little knowledge of social media.
"KCE understands that small business owners are the heart of the local economy," Rachel Glauser, a KCE representative said. "We're really excited to support businesses, their growth and the community here in Taft."
The coalition, which focuses on supporting the oil and gas industry in Kern County, has hosted similar workshops in Delano, McFarland, Wasco, Lamont, Shafter and Arvin.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to learn:
