Sheriff-Coroner identifies him as Danny Wayne Barnham, 55

The Kern County Sheriff-Coroner identified the victim of a homicide in Tupman as
a Taft man.
Danny Wayne Barham, 55, died at the scene of the stabbing on the 400 block of Moose Street in Tupman Friday afternoon, the Sheriff-Coroner said.
A second man was also stabbed but survived the attack.
The KCSO told Bakersfield TV station KGET Friday that the second victim was expected to survive but described his injuries as critical in a news release issued Saturday. He has not been identified.
Sheriff's deputies arrested a suspect several hours after the stabbing.
He was identified as Alan Oaks, 43, of Bakersfield.
Deputies assigned to the KCSO Special Investigations Division and Metro Patrol, located Oaks in the Oildale area and arrested him.
He is being held on without bail on charges of murder, attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, according to the Sheriff's website.
