They were both wanted in a double murder in Thompkinsville, Ky. on September 20.
Whitledge is from Bakersfield but has connections to Taft.
Spivey is from Hiham, Tenn.
Kentucky state police issued warrants for the pair charging Whitledge with two counts of murder and Spivey with two counts of complicity in the murders.
Whitledge was apparently armed when he was arrested.
He was charged with several felony weapons charges, including possession of a concealed, unregistered firearm, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, and carrying a loaded firearm without registration.
