Highway 119 was reoponed to traffic at midday Thursday, about six hours after a fiery head-on collision closed the road between Harrison Street and Midway Road.

S sedan and semi truck pulling a box trailer collided there about 6 p.m.

Both drivers escaped with minor injuries, firefighters said.

The car caught fire and burned.

The lengthy closure was due to the work to upright and haul away the tractor and trailer.
