Richard F. Casey II was born on December 4, 1930 and passed away in Desert Hot Springs on October 20, 2019 at the age of 88. Dick was known in Taft for owning and operating a collection agency and raising four children with his wife, Eva. He was also an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Taft. Dick was a true entrepreneur, even after leaving Taft in the early 1980’s. He and Eva then spent time in Placerville with a chainsaw repair shop and in Chico with a check cashing business before retiring fully in 1993. Dick and Eva sold their home in Chico, purchased a motorhome and traveled the country for a few years, spent some time in Oregon and eventually landed in Desert Hot Springs. He is survived by his children Carol Wheeler, Richard F Casey III, Lynn Morris, and Dean Casey; grandchildren Tony Wheeler, Austin Casey, Stephanie Morris Molina, and Wesley Morris; and three great grandchildren.
