December 23,1945-February 20, 2020
As the world lost a beautiful, sweet, and amazing woman, June Ann Hale gained her wings on February 20, 2020. June was born to Carl and Verna Lynge in Clay Center, Kansas on December 23,1945. June lived her entire life from age 3 in Taft. She was very involved in the community, she excelled in all that she attempted. She was a majorette in high school, a contender for Oildorado Queen in 1965, and had a very satisfying career in the oil industry. June's love for the outdoors was nurtured by frequent camping adventures as a child with her parents, sister Sharon, and her brother Don. She loved to spend time with her husband and their four children over the years. They traveled extensively to enjoy RV camping and boating vacations, as well as competition in sports, moto cross, and drag racing. June had a big heart for fostering rescue dogs, sometimes caring for 20 dogs at a time, socializing them to be adoptable through the Unity Thrift and Outreach. June is survived by her husband SE, their four children Mike Hale, Shelly Blaylock (and Josh), Robert Hale (and Tiffanie), and John Hale (and Lexi); 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a great great grandchild on the way. Also surviving is her brother, Don Lynge. Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of her life, planned at OT's on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 6 p.m.
