Class of 2020 finds new way to celebrate graduation during pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic made a traditional commencement an impossibility, at least in the short term. So Taft Union High came up with another idea. It turned into a drive-though celebration for the Class of 2020, which has lost many of the senior year traditions other classes enjoy. Cars and carrying seniors, most chauffeured by their parents paraded down Wildcat Way, then turned onto the campus where they returned in their school equipment, then picked up their yearbooks and diplomas.
