The Taft Wildcats won the final regular season match of the year at North Kern Golf Course, par 72, in convincing fashion on Thursday. Strong play from the top to bottom of the lineup propelled the Wildcats to their 15th straight league win over the last two years. Macayla Wells led the way for Taft with a solid 82. Next was Tayler Portenga with her first trip into the 90s with a 99. Third was Briley Wheeler with a 110, followed by Willow Pilgrim with a 111. Finishing off the scoring for Taft was Freshman Trenadee Price with a 113.
