Reagan Hamilton scores 19, Bree Johansen adds 17, Mahaila Laulu has 16 in SSL win
The girls varsity basketball team played the Wasco Tigers Friday night. The Wildcats had a big game and beat the Tigers 70-30. They held Wasco to just 11 points in the first half and moved to 3-1 in league play.
Four players had double digit points in the game. Reagan Hamilton led the team with 19 points, Bree Johansen scored 17 points and Mahaila Laulu added 16 points. Morgan Pulido had 14 points and Tayler Portenga ended the game with four points.
The Wildcats dominated the boards grabbing 41 rebounds during the game. Hamilton and Pulido led the team with nine rebounds apiece, Laulu grabbed eight, Johansen had six and Portenga added five. Jasmine Hunt had two rebounds and Sierra Kozloski and Rylee Mizener each finished with one.
Johansen led the Wildcats in steals with five, Pulido had four, Hamilton ended with two and Laulu and Kozloski each ended the game with one. Johansen also led the team in assists with five, Hamilton had four and Portenga, Hunt and Kozloski all had one. Hamilton and Mizener each came up with two blocks and Pulido had one.
