A large brush fire burning in the western part of California Valley has burned one structure and forced evacuations.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff said residents on Belmont Trail between Soda Lake Road are being evacuated.

That area is south of Highway 58.

The SLO Sheriff said at 4 p.m. the fire had burned about 350 acres.
