Fire destroys motorhome in South Taft

 Fire destroyed a motorhome in South Taft Thursday night.

The fire broke out in the 1000 block of Stevens Street about 6:40 p.m. and the motorhome was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived.

The quickly knocked down the fire before it could spread to nearby trees and a structure.

No details on the cause or damage were available.

Firefighters were just leaving the scene of the fire when they responded to a traffic accident two blocks north on General Petroleum Avenue.
